Privacy policy
Effective October 9, 2026. This policy explains what information Gorilla Haulers LLC (“Gorilla Haulers,” “we,” “us”) collects through gorillahaulers.com, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you request an estimate, you provide your name, email address, phone number, pickup and destination ZIP codes or addresses, preferred move date, move size, requested services, how you heard about us, and any notes you add. Please do not include payment card details, identification documents, or other sensitive information in the notes.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers receive your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of each request. We use this to deliver the website, prevent spam and abuse (for example, limiting repeated form submissions), and keep the service secure.
Cookies and similar technologies
Gorilla Haulers does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking cookies, and does not track you across other websites. After you submit a request, your browser’s session storage remembers your reference number until you close the tab.
Some pages include features from other companies, which may set their own cookies or collect device information under their own privacy policies:
- Google Maps: the map in our footer, and the address suggestions in the estimate form. As you type an address, the text is sent to Google to suggest matches. (Google Privacy Policy)
- Elfsight: the Google reviews display on our home page. (Elfsight Privacy Policy)
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The estimate form still works if you do, and you can type your address without using the suggestions.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare an estimate, and plan and carry out your move.
- To contact you by phone, email, or text message about your request. Submitting the form authorizes contact about that request. It does not sign you up for marketing messages or book a move.
- To keep records required for our business and by law, and to protect our website against fraud and abuse.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with:
- Service providers working for us: Amazon Web Services (website hosting, storage, and staff notifications) and SmartMoving (the moving-management software our team uses to handle estimates and bookings). They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
- Authorities, when required: to comply with the law, a court order, or a government request, or to protect our rights, customers, or staff.
- A successor business: if Gorilla Haulers is merged or sold, as part of that transaction.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests stored by the website are deleted automatically after 90 days. Requests passed to our moving-management software, and records of moves we perform, are kept as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax, and federal motor carrier record-keeping requirements.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email sales@gorillahaulers.com or call (202) 937-2625. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep information the law requires us to keep. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
Because we do not track visitors across websites or sell personal information, we do not need to act on “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals differently. We already treat every visitor as opted out of sale and targeted advertising.
Security
Information sent through the estimate form is encrypted in transit and stored encrypted. Access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you think your information has been misused.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Links to Google, our BBB Accredited Business profile, social platforms, FMCSA, and other government websites take you to sites with their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those sites.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
