GORILLA HAULERS MOVING GUIDE
How to prepare your moving inventory
Send a useful furniture list, photos, or a walkthrough video for your moving estimate.
Get my moving estimateChoose a list, photos, or a walkthrough video
Show what needs to move, including furniture and packed boxes. A bedroom count helps start the conversation, but the actual belongings are what our team needs to assess your shipment.
- List furniture by room, with quantities.
- Photograph larger pieces from an angle that shows their size.
- For video, move slowly through each room and describe what stays behind.
Make the inventory easy to review
Include belongings outside the main rooms and point out anything needing special handling. If you have not finished packing, give your current box count and explain what remains unpacked.
- Include garage, basement, attic, and storage-unit items.
- Mention large, fragile, or unusually shaped belongings.
- Tell us about stairs, elevators, and the path from the truck to your door.
Update us when plans change
Your inventory can change as you prepare. Contact the team when you add or remove items. We review it again three days before the move and discuss any changes to the estimate.
- Keep your latest inventory in one place.
- Mark additions and removals clearly.
- Confirm the revised details with the team.
Send your inventory to sales@gorillahaulers.com, or call (202) 937-2625 for help.
